THERAPY FOR INDIVIDUALS (16+), COUPLES & RELATIONSHIPS

Brianna Safe, LMHC

As a therapist, I believe people change in the presence of other people. This is what makes the therapeutic experience so transformative – the relational work of therapy provides a new context where you can seek to understand & unlearn old patterns that no longer serve you, while learning to navigate your inner & outer world with more courage & ease. My work is highly relational, viewing the need for connection to self, others & the world around us as foundational to human wellness.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Attachment Theory, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic approaches to trauma and healing. I use Polyvagal Theory as a guide for rewiring the nervous system's response to stress and expanding our capacity to hold space for overwhelming emotions and realities.

I provide therapy for individuals (ages 16+) and relationships - couples, partners & other relationships in need of therapeutic support and mediation. Originally from Los Angeles, I worked in nonprofit gifted education (K-18+) before relocating to Spokane in 2018, where I received my MA in Marriage & Family Counseling from Gonzaga University.
